Slightly distorted overall coating gives this album very nice and unique personality. And I always love this type of basementish and unpolished vibe. Sun Through Eyelids I've been waiting for what feels like an eternity for this album to release, and it was definitely worth the wait. From the lush guitars, the added female vocals from Julia black, to the ever present synth in the background seeping into your subconscious..
I've gotten through some seriously personal, intense stuff with this album (and namely the songs that were on youtube for a while ages ago) I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do , Reuben. Favorite track: No Heaven.

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
